Meeting to form an I-League club in Malappuram

A group of football enthusiasts from Malappuram district in Kerala attended a meeting convened to discuss the possibilities of starting a club that would eventually play in I-League.

Kerala exports a good number of footballers to various clubs across the country but does not have a club in I-league.  In the meeting convened at the Malappuram PWD guesthouse, attendees discussed the possibility of a club that would play in Malappuram 2nd Division league in the next season and eventually make it to the I-league in 3 years time.

To take decisions regarding, Forming club management, club’s Name, colour of jersey, launching date, media and social media promotion, Logo making competition and other aspects,  the 1st official meeting for the upcoming club would be held on 20th of October 4.pm at Malappuram. PWD guest house.
