AIFF asks Churchill Bros and Mohun Bagan to pay up player salaries

500px-India_FA.svgAIFF Player’s status committee asked Mohun Bagan and Churchill Brothers to clear the dues of all the players whose salaries they have defaulted upon by December 31st 2013.

The committee also recommended AIFF to showcause Mohammedan Sporting Club as they failed to provide any evidence to back up their claim that former India player Mehrajuddin Wadoo had breached a contract with the club.

Bengaluru FC’s Sean Rooney hails coach Ashley Westwood

Bengaluru FC striker Sean Rooney has hailed their coach Ashley Westwood. He also spoke about being compared Wayne Rooney and how he idolizes him as a player.

Kerala FA comes up with three new schemes to improve grassroot football

KFAKerala football association has devised three new schemes to improve grassroots football in the state. KFA will partner FIFA, U.K club Reading FC and Kerala sports Council in implementing these schemes.  The now scrapped Vision India scheme will be revamped with the help of Kerala Sports council, football coaching scheme overseen by FIFA and football school in partnership with Reading FC and a tournament for Academies across the state are part of the grand plan.

We will have to wait and see how much of this will materialize.
