Kerala team for the 49th Junior National Football Championship will leave Kochi for Bokaro on Tuesday.  However coach T.G. Purushothaman lamented the lack of time for preparing the team for the junior national championship.

“We had only 10 days for the state camp. I wish I had received a little more time to set the team for the nationals. However, I am happy talent wise and hope for a good start. The players, who are training in Kochi, will leave for Jharkhand on Tuesday,“  he said.

Kerala is grouped in Tier-II along with Rajasthan, Arunachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.  Kerala plays Arunachal Pradesh in their first match on September 24th.
