In the memory of LATE SHRI WAHENGBAM INDRAMANI SINGH, “SECOND WIM CUP 2014” (SECOND WAHENGBAM INDRAMANI MEMORIAL CUP 2014 ), a football tournament would be held on 1st February’ 2015 as a tribute to the football lovers.The tournament would be held on a knock-out basis in all the rounds and sixteen teams would be vying for the trophy.

The format of the tournament is as follows.
State teams from various zone will fight it out to gain a place in the final round of the tournament.
Ten teams qualified from the Zonal Round, will be divided into two groups of Five teams each and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the Semi-Finals.
Four teams qualified from the Final Round, will play in the cross Semi-Finals

Punjab will host the final round of Santosh Trophy. The matches will take place in Ludiahna and Jalandhar from March 1-15, 2015. Group matches in the final round will be held at both venues while the semifinal and final will take place in Ludhiana. Last time Punjab hosted the event was in 1974. 
Teams from each zone will be divided into two/single group/s depending upon the
number of participants and the top two teams from each zone will qualify for the Final round of the competition.

Tamil Nadu football Association (TFA) has announced a 20 member squad for the 69th National football championship played for the Santosh Trophy. Tamil Nadu will play the south zone qualifiers at the MSDC stadium in Manjeri. Tamil Nadu is in Group B along with Services and Pondicherry. Tamil Nadu will kick off their South Zone campaign when they meet Pondicherry on the 18th of January.

Football Association of Odisha (FAO) has announced a 20-member State team to participate in the 69th national Football Championship for Santosh Trophy-2015 (East Zone Qualifying Round) to be held at JRD Sports Complex, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand from January 15 to 20. Sk Zahid would lead the team as captain. Akshya Das, Ashok Panda and Shuvendu Panda would accompany the team as coach, goalkeeper coach and manager respectively.

Sikkim has been placed in a group featuring Odisha, Railways and Chattisgarh at the zonal round being hosted at Jamshedpur. They play against Odisha on January 16, Railways on January 18 and Chattisgarh on January 20. Only one team will progress into the next round.
