U-16 India team mauled Sharjah Sports Club U-17 Team 4-0

The Indian U-16 football team who is on a preparatory tour ahead of the upcoming AFC U-16 Championship Qualifiers defeated Sharjah Sports Club U-17 Team 4-0 in a friendly match today.

While on paper the victory looks massive, Sharjah Sports Club is almost in tatters as of 2013 as they finished at the bottom of the UAE League. Read about the high and lows for Sharjah football club here.

AIFF asks Churchill Bros and Mohun Bagan to pay up player salaries

500px-India_FA.svgAIFF Player’s status committee asked Mohun Bagan and Churchill Brothers to clear the dues of all the players whose salaries they have defaulted upon by December 31st 2013.

The committee also recommended AIFF to showcause Mohammedan Sporting Club as they failed to provide any evidence to back up their claim that former India player Mehrajuddin Wadoo had breached a contract with the club.

Yesterday it was the turn of legends to go trigger happy criticizing Indian coach over the SAFF Cup debacle, AIFF Secretary is probably the lone voice who is supporting the Indian football team who lost to Afghanistan.  He even went to an extent saying that in a long time, this has been the best performance from an Indian team!
